What if I'm a New Player to Mahjong?
New players can absolutely learn on our tiles. Our professional grade tiles are designed for beginners and experienced players, alike. Depending on the type of mahjong you are playing whether it's Japanese Riichi Mahjong, American Mahjong, or any type of mahjong, the learning curve to learning mahjong is a short and fun one. You’ll be up to speed in no time!
For beginners, our designs are similar to the professional and traditional tiles so you can use any mahjong guide out there. We try to simplify some things that can confuse a new player with our resources.
Are Your Mahjong Tiles Hand Painted?
Each mahjong tile and mahjong tile set is made of a custom acrylic color and then a combination of machine and hand painting occurs. Each set will have some variability since a human hand is still involved. Each set takes days to complete and a human hand is in charge of oversight so there will be slight variations across tiles which we consider part of the unique beauty of the sets.
Do Your Mahjong Sets Come With Blanks?
Only certain sets come with Blank Tiles, namely American Mahjong sets. The primary purpose of blanks is to act as a replacement of a lost tile although some players actually play with blanks in the game.
How Does Mahjong Pros Handle Shipping?
We offer FREE shipping on orders over $149 within the continental USA (excludes Hawaii and Alaska).
Shipping Time -- We strive to ship all orders as quickly as possible, but we encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
Please verify that your shipping address is correct. If an order is placed and the shipping address is incorrect or incomplete, the order will be returned to us and a refund will be issued, less shipping charges. Due to payment provider regulations (Credit Card, PayPal, Amazon Pay, etc), we are unable to make address corrections after an order has been placed. If an address correction is needed, we will need to cancel and refund the original order and have a new order placed with the corrected address.

Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order.
Do you accept checks?
We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.
