Note that hand limits are typically up to 5 Points with the exception of two 10 Point Hands: Three Great Scholars and Four Great Winds

When someone wins off someone else's discard, everyone will have to pay up.

Point Value Table for Singaporean Mahjong

Hand Type/Action Tai Description
Animal Tile (any) 1 Each individual animal tile (e.g., Cat, Mouse, Chicken, Centipede).
Seat Flower/Season 1 Flower or season tile matching the player’s seat wind. Non-matching Flowers or Seasons do not count.
Dragon Pong 1 A pong (three identical tiles) of any dragon tile.
Valued Wind Pong 1 A pong of either the Round Wind (prevailing wind) or the player's seat wind.
Little Ping Hu (Smelly) 1 4 chows and 1 pair; the pair cannot be dragon or valued wind; must have multiple wait to
win on discard; If self-drawn, single tile wait is allowed. Exception: Cannot have 4 open chows
Fully Concealed Hand 1 A winning hand with no melds except flowers, seasons, or animals; must self-draw the win.
Winning on Replacement Tile 1 Winning with a replacement tile for flower/season/animal or kong.
Robbing a Kong 1 Winning by claiming a tile during a concealed kong declaration by another player.
Winning on Last Tile 1 Winning on the last tile draw (unless it’s a replacement tile).
Flower Set (All 4 Flowers/Seasons) 2 A complete set of all 4 flowers or all 4 seasons. Stacks with tai for individual seat flowers.
Half Flush 2 All tiles are from one suit or honours.
All Pungs 2 Four pungs and a pair.
Three Lesser Scholars 3 Two dragon pungs and a dragon pair. Does not stack with tai for each dragon pong.
Full Flush 4 All tiles belong to the same suit.
Big Ping Hu  4 Little Ping Hu hand with no flowers, animals, or seasons. Does not stack with Little Ping Hu
All Terminals or Honors 4 All tiles are either terminals (1s and 9s) or honour tiles (winds and dragons). Does not stack with tai for dragon pungs or valued win pungs.
Four Lesser Blessings 4 Three wind pungs and a wind pair. Does not stack with tai for valued wind pungs, flush, and/or half flush.
7 Flowers/Seasons 5 Collect all 7 flowers/seasons; can rob the last flower/season tile to win instantly.
All 8 Flowers/Seasons 5 (Limit) Collect all 8 flowers/seasons for an immediate win.
Animal Set (All 4 Animals) 5 Collect all 4 animal tiles.
Three Great Scholars 10  (Limit) Pungs/Kongs of all Three dragon*
Four Great Blessings 10  (Limit) Pungs/Kongs of all Four wind*
All Honours (Limit) All tiles are honour tiles.
All Terminals (Limit) All tiles are terminal tiles (1s and 9s).
Hidden Treasure (Limit) Four concealed pungs and a self-drawn win. Concealed kongs are allowed.
13 Orphans (Limit) A hand with all terminals and honours, plus a pair from one of these tiles. Always scored as self-drawn.
All Green (Limit) A hand consisting only of bamboo 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and Green Dragon.
9 Gates (Limit) A perfect 1112345678999 hand in one suit, completed by any additional tile in the same suit.
Eighteen Arhats/Four Kongs (Limit) A hand with 4 kongs and a pair.
Kong on Kong Making 2 or more kongs on the same turn with replacement tiles and winning on them.
Heavenly Hand (Limit) The dealer wins on their initial turn.
Earthly Hand 5 (Limit) A non-dealer wins on their first turn or before their first discard is claimed.
